Privacy Notice

Why you may have heard from us (business outreach)

If you run or work at a car dealership, we may have contacted you personally (by e-mail or phone) with an offer to create a free sample promo video from your existing car listing photos. This notice explains how we handle your data when we do that.

• What data we hold: your name and business role (if published), your business contact details (e-mail address, phone number), your dealership's name and public business details.
• Where it comes from: public sources only — your dealership's own website, your public listings on marketplaces (e.g. Cars.com, CarGurus), and public state business registries.
• Why: one-to-one business communication offering our services. Nothing is automated or bulk-sent.
• Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in offering relevant services to businesses — the controller is established in the EU, so the GDPR applies to this processing wherever you are.
• Commercial e-mail: every message identifies us accurately, carries a valid physical postal address and an opt-out that works, in line with the US CAN-SPAM Act.
• How long: if you never respond, we delete your contact data within 12 months of our last message. If you object, we stop immediately and keep only a minimal suppression record so we never contact you again.
• Who else sees it: only our service providers (hosting, e-mail) acting as processors on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information and never share it for third-party marketing.
• Where it is processed: in the EU/EEA.

Our website

• If you leave your e-mail address in a form on this site (waiting list, contact about a car), we use it only to respond or to let you know about the launch of the service.
• We use only technically necessary cookies (e.g. sign-in for app users) and two preference cookies that remember the language and market you picked on the site. No advertising or analytics cookies.

Your rights

• Opt out of marketing e-mail at any time — use the opt-out in any message, reply to it, or write to info@cinecar.cz; we stop immediately.
• Ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing.
• Complain to the controller's supervisory authority: the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
